Merlot is a red grape variety originating from the Bordeaux area (France), which arrived at Can Descregut 25 years ago and for us it is now like home. So be it: Welcome!
A classic red wine with work in the vineyard in accordance with the rhythms of the cosmos and in harmony with the natural environment, in order to achieve the expression of ripe fruit with a soft touch.

Vinification
Fermentative maceration for three weeks and subsequent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Light aging in French oak barrels for eight months.
Tasting note
The aroma is very clean, with penetrating intensity and wide in nuances, highlighting red fruit (cherries) and black or forest fruit (raspberry jam). Memories of the aging in barrels (toast and chocolate), and a very pleasant vegetal background (cut grass and Mediterranean forest shrubs), which gives us a balsamic freshness. In the mouth it has volume, medium warmth, oily texture and velvety touch. Its finish is elegant, fruity, long, with a soft tannic sensation and an acidity that provides a refreshing effect.
